This is the inaugural issue of DIAGONAL- a new magazine under the umbrella of the Design Institute of Australia (DIA). DIAGONAL is about the why rather than the what; a magazine for the curious.
What you will see and read are stories, loosely woven around a central theme of the season, about ordinary people and businesses in the design sector doing extraordinary things. One thing in common is they show how design is improving the lives of people, and how intrinsic design is to everything we do.
The inaugural issue focuses on springs under the umbrella of resilience. With a combination of feature length articles and regular columns, some serious and some not so serious.
