Join us for 'An in conversation with Lydia Pearson' at the Museum of Brisbane (MoB) on Thursday, 8 June.
In collaboration with MoB and the DIA Queensland Branch is pleased to present an event spotlighting the incredible work of Queensland Designers who have been inducted into the DIA Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame is an enduring record of design pioneers and ambassadors' significant contributions to Australia's economic development and cultural identity. Induction is the ultimate recognition for achievement and contribution to the Australian design industry and acknowledges design leaders across all disciplines. Over 130 designers have been inducted since the program's inception in 1996.
DIA Fellow Melissa Blight and MoB Exhibitions Coordinator, will provide an introduction discussing her involvement in the current regional touring exhibition of work, and Lydia’s presentation will be followed by audience participation in a facilitated Q&A discussion with the speakers, led by Dr Natalie Wright, FDIA, DIA Queensland Councilor & QUT Senior Lecturer in Interior Architecture.
The event will conclude with audience participation in a facilitated Q&A discussion.
It promises to be a night to remember, filled with glamour, sophistication, and the magic of Easton Pearson's remarkable contributions to the design world. Guests are invited to dress up and enter a world of style and grace as they arrive at the MoB, where champagne and canapés await.
