Graduates of the Year 2023 – Shortlist revealed

We are delighted to announce the Shortlist for the Graduates of the Year Awards (Gotya) 2023. Australia’s flagship program for emerging designers, identifies, supports and celebrates exceptional Australian designers as they embark on their careers.
"Tertiary institutions nationwide this year have nominated their top graduates into three new cross-disciplinary categories—Place, Use, and Interact. We were excited to move from a traditional awards program to one that reflects our times and how we live, design and interact. The jury was able to determine strong transferable workplace skills and predicted impact on the Australian design industry."

Next, shortlisted graduates will be contacted directly to arrange the final step, the online interviews.
State and National category winners will be announced on Thursday 7 September, at Stylecraft showrooms around the country. Tickets can be booked via the link below.
The Madeline Lester Award recipient will be announced on 2 November in Sydney.
