DIA — Icons Exhibition launch

  • Council House, Perth (WA) Saint Georges Terrace Perth, WA, 6000 Australia (map)

Join us for the Icons - Australian Design Exhibition launch.

The Design Institute of Australia, with the support of the City of Perth and Stylecraft, presents Icons – Australian Design.
The exhibition never seen before in WA takes place at Perth Design Week and is curated by Ian Wong FDIA.

The collection includes a variety of products designed in Australia including furniture, electronics, appliances, and everyday objects. With world-first innovations like the Kambrook Powerboard through to household favorites like the Nylex Esky and Grant and Mary Featherston’s Sound Chair. The central theme of the exhibition is how design is an important part of not just our everyday lives, but of Australian culture.

The value of design in our lives is at the core of Perth Design Week and through the DIA’s long-standing relationship with Ian Wong we are able to bring these culturally valuable objects to Perth.
