Design Fringe: First Nations Designer Panel

Hear from a panel of First Nation designers that have been commissioned as part of Design Fringe

Bringing last year’s inaugural First Nations Design Commission recipient Nicole Monks together with 2022 recipients Cassie Leatham, Delvene Cockatoo-Collins and Lillardia Briggs-Houston in conversation with Mob in Fashion Ambassador Nathan McGuire, this event is a chance to see each of the artists’ work for the first time, and hear from them directly about how their work contributes to the Design Fringe conversation.

You’ll gain insight into how they’ve been inspired by traditional cultural practices and Indigenous materials. The First Nations Design Panel is a chance to get inside the minds of artists celebrated by a program that platforms the most iconic of contemporary and experimental design.

Design Fringe is supported by Peter Wetenhall and Jo Horgan.
