Prof Beck Davis Retires from DIA Board
Also announced at the AGM 2023, Professor Beck Davis is not seeking a further term as an elected member director and is stepping down.
She is a fellow of the Design Institute of Australia and served on the Board from 2015. Beck is a designer with expertise in leading collaborations that span not-for-profit, government organisations, university research institutes, startup entities and/or private enterprise. She has a deep understanding of the design industry and education. And has contributed much to design policy particularly in relation to shaping design education, ethical and sustainable outcomes.
We are grateful to have benefited from her advice, written submissions and wise council over many years. Well balanced, thoughtful, contributing new perspectives. Her commitment to the organisation has been outstanding serving in multiple roles at State and national levels.
