DIA's Member Logos


Use of the DIA logo, and/or any associated wording, is allowed subject to the following conditions, which vary according to membership status and relationship with the DIA. 

Please download the logo guidelines here to see whether use of the DIA logo is permitted in your case, and choose the appropriate, corresponding wording. 
Unauthorised or inappropriate use of the DIA logo, or the use of any wording other than that supplied, may result in legal action. 
Use of the logo is not permitted if membership has lapsed.

  • You must be a current financial member of the DIA and accrue 50 CPD points each year.

    • Logo use:
    You are entitled to use the DIA logo in association with these authorised wordings.

    • Authorised wording:
    Accredited Designer member of the Design Institute of Australia

    • Advice:
    You may use the wording in your CV in the section detailing ‘Professional Associations’. You may use the wording on a letterhead provided that it is associated with your name. That is, it should be clear that you are the member and must not imply that any company that may be featured on the letterhead is the member

  • You must be a current financial member (in any category) of the DIA.

    • Logo use:
    You are entitled to use the DIA logo in association with these authorised wordings.

    • Authorised wording:
    Member of the Design Institute of Australia

    • Use of Post-nominals:
    Post-nominals are to be used only by Accredited Designers, Fellows, Life Fellows and Hall of Fame inductees. They are:

    MDIA (Accredited Designer)
    FDIA (Fellow)
    LFDIA (Life Fellow)
    HFDIA (Hall of Fame)

  • Only to be used while currently a financial member of the DIA.

    • Logo use:
    You are entitled to use the DIA logo in association with these authorise wordings.

    • Authorised wording:
    Registered Design Entity member of the Design Institute of Australia
    OR
    Proud supporter of the Design Institute of Australia OR
    Supporter of the Design Institute of Australia

    • Advice:
    May also be used by CPD Provider Network.
