RMIT Industrial Design Graduate

Tim recently graduated from RMIT Industrial Design and joined the Lex team in September this year.

Chris Ballard, Lex’s Design Director, shared the motivation behind offering Tim a position with Lex; “Industrial design is the pursuit of solving problems by creating the best solution, within set parameters, and that’s what makes it challenging. Tim is a natural designer who follows his curiosity with an open mind, which in my opinion, is the foundation for a great designer. We’re thrilled to have Tim join our team”.

Participating in the GOTYAs, and winning the VIC/TAS Industrial Design award has been a great experience for Tim, as he shares; “Studying design at university is an amazing experience but it’s often difficult to benchmark your creative processes against professional design practice. Participating in the GOTYAs has been incredible as it has given me the chance to grow as a designer through the feedback provided to me by industry leading practitioners”.
