The 3rd and final Master Class of the Typography series will be held on Saturday, 17th of November at one of the country’s oldest cultural institutions, the Australian Museum. Some of Australia’s leading theorists and practitioners of typography will deliver a wonderful opportunity to learn, discuss and develop new approaches and responses to font design. This series of Master Classes has been hugely successful on many levels and tickets are limited to only 15 participants. The only requirement, other than the price of a ticket, is that each participant has at least 10 years experience as a designer in visual communication.
The speakers for the day are Dr. Louise McWhinnieAssociate Dean (Teaching & Learning) Faculty of DAB, UTS; Harry Pears and the Font Factory; Wendy Ellerton, Type Designer, Associate, Monash Art Design & Architecture; and Dan Milne, Designer of the font TASMAN.
